Will my plans for YA in France and Germany clash?

I study French and German. I am hoping to do the shorter British Council Assistantship in Germany for the first part of the year (October-Feb 2016), followed by an Erasmus Study placement at a French university (Tours would be my ideal choice). My University says the second semester period is Feb-June, though I have no specific dates yet. Does anyone know if this is likely to clash, or if there is an ideal order in which to do the Assistantship in Germany AND Erasmus in France? Any previous experiences would be helpful, as I am keen to avoid any possible clashes before submitting my British Council application. Thanks!
