Which areas in Granada are best to live in?

I'm moving to Granada next semester and wondered if anyone could give me some advice on which areas are the best/worst to live in? Which ones do most students live in etc. Thank you!

I lived just off Calle Recogidas, which is one of the main shopping streets right in the city centre.  This was perfect for me, as I was close to everything, including bus stops to get to Cartuja Campus.  I would really recommend living as close to the centre as possible!

hey! i lived on calle san jerónimo, right next to the cathedral. it was a brilliant place to live as it was very central, in the old town and close to the gran vía for the buses (and cheap!). although plaza de toros is very studenty, it's quite far from the centre and i wouldn't recommend living there.
