Seeing a doctor in Spain?

I've been in Spain for a couple of weeks now and everything is going great. However I think I might need to see a doctor. It's a little awkward to talk about but I think I have a urine infection. It's not too serious a problem but it could get worse if I don't get treated. I really have no idea how to go about seeing a doctor here in Spain. I have my EHIC card and university insurance, but I don't know how to find a doctor, nor what to actually say to them when I do. If anyone has any advice it would be really helpful to me!

Hi, I had a similar experience last year in Madrid. I'd been feeling pretty ill for a while with what turned out to be a nasty virus but put off going to the doctors because I thought it would be really complicated. It's actually really easy! I've written a blog post showing step by step how I registered at the doctors and made an appointment: http://madridadrift.blogspot.co.uk/2015/04/medical-matters.html
