How can I find a summer job/ stage in France?

I have been let down by a website that organises work placements for students in France- anyone have any alternative suggestions for how to find a short- term placement to improve my French skills?

I've heard a lot of people get summer placements quite easily working at Disneyland Paris. Obviously you will speak some English there but they take on a lot of extra staff over summer. Alternatively the AA often takes on interns over summer, they're based in Lyons. One of the best ways of getting your french to a good standard is to be an au pair for a few months over summer - a lot of families look for an au pair to keep the kids entertained during the holidays, so websites like aupairworld and similar are good for finding a family, just make sure you chat to them first to make sure you know what you're looking for :)

I worked on a vineyard in the south of France over the summer. They get a lot of tourists who visit in high season and really appreciate bilingual workers. All wine regions take on people, have a look at and see if they have anything you'd be interested in. You don't normally need to know anything about wine and often they have accommodation on site.
