BBC iPlayer can normally only be watched in the UK, but try downloading the Firefox add-on Hola Unblocker. It's a proxy switcher to unblock regional video restrictions, you can use it to hide which country you are using your computer in. Good luck!

You could use a VPN service. It's totally legal and there are many websites offering free VPN connections (they also explain how to setup the ip address and server etc).

Tunnel Bear is a very good website which offers 1GB free a month - very fast and reliable.

You could also try MediaHint, although it is worth noting this is only free for a month and thereafter you have to pay about $3 monthly.

I used Easy-Hide-IP in Spain, which basically hides your current location and enables you to choose another one. You can choose a place in the UK and it lets you watch BBC iPlayer, 4od and many other things (such as Netflix) that you wouldn't otherwise be able to use abroad.
