University of Plymouth

University of Portsmouth
Ask anyone who has taken a study/work abroad programme will tell you that it was one of the best experiences of their university life. Imagine walking to University along the banks of the River Seine or doing your weekly shop in an Italian street market. One of the biggest regrets of people in their late twenties and thirties is that they didn't go travelling when they were younger. Leaving it until you have a full time job and a mortgage makes things difficult - why not take the opportunity while you're a student?

University of Salford
Studying or working abroad is a guaranteed way to completely change your time at University. It’s a life-changing experience that will prepare you for life like nothing else. Study abroad isn’t the same as a ‘gap year’ or a ‘year out’, but an integral part of your student experience at the University of Salford. University of St Andrews
Study Abroad programmes play an important role in the University's commitment to a learning culture that is challenging, imaginative and flexible. We are delighted to offer our undergraduates a number of exciting opportunities to spend a semester or year abroad as part of a St Andrews degree programme.

University of St Mark & St John
The Overseas Exchange Programme enables students from the University of St Mark & St John to spend one semester or full academic year at one of our partner institutions overseas at Bloomsburg University or Lock Haven University, Pennsylvania USA. Modules are available across most disciplines and are part of the regular undergraduate curriculum, enabling exchange students to study and experience University in the USA. A year or semester abroad is undoubtedly one of the best opportunities that is available to you during your studies. The benefits of being able to study and travel abroad will broaden your horizons and enhance the opportunities available to you when seeking future employment.

University of Strathclyde
Have you always wanted to travel and gain life experience? Then why not spend a year or semester abroad as part of your degree. Not only will you get a chance to visit another part of the world but it can help with your employment after finishing University and give you much needed life experience in a different culture.

University of Sunderland
Many of our students broaden their cultural horizons and study abroad at partner universities in Europe, the USA, Canada, South America and Australia while gaining credits towards their degree. This gives them a distinct advantage when presenting themselves to a prospective employer. Students study for one or two semesters at one of our exchange partner universities. The time spent abroad replaces the time which would have been spent in Sunderland, so it doesn't increase the time it takes to study for a degree.

University of Surrey
As a University of Surrey student you have the opportunity to work or study abroad as part of your degree. Taking part in an exchange gives you the opportunity to travel and live in another country, whilst earning credits that will contribute to your Surrey degree. The University of Surrey has Erasmus agreements across Europe, and international partners worldwide including USA, Canada, Australia, Singapore and Japan.

University of Sussex
As an undergraduate Sussex student, you can study abroad in a variety of ways and at a wide range of worldwide destinations. You can apply to do a year or a term abroad or study at a summer school. If you are a student on a four-year degree programmes in American Studies or in Modern Languages, you'll spend the third year of their degree abroad.

University of the Arts London
The value of an international exchange experience goes far beyond grades and grants. The Erasmus+ programme aims to modernise and improve higher education across Europe and the rest of the world. It gives students opportunities to develop their skills and boost their employment prospects.

University of the Highlands and Islands
Make the most of studying at university and apply for one of our exchange programmes. As a UHI student you can take advantage of the Erasmus programme and get funding for a semester study in another European country. Or look at our International Exchange Programme, which is an exciting, challenging plunge into the academic life of another country. Going on an exchange is a great way to broaden your horizons and your understanding of other countries and societies.

University of the West of England, Bristol
Find out about the opportunities to study abroad whilst at UWE Bristol as part of, or alongside your studies. There’s plenty of support both personally and financially and it really does make a huge difference to your outlook and your future career. You can also take advantage of a wide range of other global opportunities including volunteering, work and teaching abroad.

University of the West of Scotland
UWS aims to give a global outlook to your studies, preparing you to work in an international context at home or overseas, after graduation. You’ll have the opportunity to engage in study options and extra-curricular activities explicitly designed to help you develop as a global citizen; and get the chance to take advantage of outward mobility or learning overseas.

University of Ulster
Study abroad is challenging, exciting and above all rewarding. It is not a year out, but the opportunity to study at a college or university abroad as part of your degree at Ulster. It is the ideal opportunity to experience a different way of living and learning.
